The National Funeral Directors Association is the worldwide source of expertise and professional resources for all facets of funeral service. Through education, information and advocacy, NFDA is dedicated to supporting members in their mission to provide families with meaningful end-of-life services at the highest levels of excellence and integrity.

 

North Carolina Funeral Directors Association

NCFDA is organized to add value to our members by promoting funeral service as a distinct profession based on specialized competencies and helping our members develop to their full potential, fostering recognition of our profession by promoting the value of funeral service and by securing for the citizens of North Carolina the highest quality of funeral service.

 

Order of the Golden Rule

Founded in 1928, OGR's mission is to make independent funeral homes exceptional. We do this by building and supporting member interaction, information exchange and professional business development through a wide range of programs, services and resources. Our Standards of Ethical Conduct guide our members' business practices and philosophy, allowing them to provide unsurpassed care to families "by the Golden Rule."

 

Cremation Association of North America

Founded in 1913, the Cremation Association of North America (CANA) is an international organization of over 3,300 members, composed of funeral homes, cemeteries, crematories, industry suppliers and consultants. CANA members believe that cremation is preparation for memorialization.
